Sunday Riley are my all time favourite skincare brand so the Sunday Riley For Glossybox limited edition box is like a little dream come true for me. This box sold out fast, but the lovely folks over at Glossybox surprised me with my very own box and made me a very happy Bunny.
I own most Sunday Riley products with only a couple left of my wishlist. Yes they can be a tad expensive, but they are amazing products and they really work. With fans such as Victoria Beckham, this cruelty-free line incorporates high-tech formulas with the best ingredients and the results speak for themselves.
Glossybox have curated a box of 5 of Sunday Riley’s signature products that are pretty much guaranteed to spawn a whole new breed of Sunday Riley fans. I’m extra excited as the two products I’ve been wanting to add to my collection are included in the box, so I can try before I buy.
All of Sunday Riley’s products are colour coded, so it’s easy to see what you need depending on what your skin needs. It makes it easy when you have quite a few of their goodies and have skin that is a temperamental sod like mine is.
BLUE – hydration and moisturisation
ORANGE – contains vitamin C & brightens
The box contains 4 deluxe mini versions of classic Sunday Riley products and 1 full size, so it is a great introduction to the brand.
Luna Sleeping Night Oil – Deluxe Mini
First up in the Sunday Riley for Glossybox edition, is one of the first Sunday Riley products I tried. I love Luna so much that on my bathroom shelf there are several bottles in every size possible. I adore Luna with a passion and can never be without it.
Luna is a retinol based product (a derivative of vitamin A), and it works to boost the plumpness of your skin as well as helping to improve the appearance of pores, redness and wrinkles. I have been using Luna for about 18 months (maybe longer), and it’s now a staple in my skincare regime. I use it 4 nights a week (never on consecutive nights), and it really does leave your skin looking so much better. If I ever go a few nights without using it, I can really see the difference.
After you’ve cleansed, massage a couple of drops of Luna into your skin. You’ll look like a surf at first as the Blue Tansy in the oil is, obviously, blue, but as it absorbs the blue tinge to your skin disappears. It works throughout the night and you wake up with a complexion that looks more youthful and luminous.
Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream – Deluxe Mini
Tidal has been on my wishlist to try for so long, so I’m thrilled to finally get to try it. I can already tell you that I’ll be buying a full size as soon as the pennies allow (it’s £60 so it might have to wait until after Christmas).
It is a water cream that is extremely hydrating and also brightens and refines the complexion. A combination of botanical extracts and hyaluronic acids help the skin to absorb the cream and retain moisture. The cream gently exfoliates the skin, to help brighten the complexion and it also helps to correct dull spots and hyper-pigmentation.
You can either apply Tidal twice a day or pat it in over the top of your makeup to seal in hydration and radiance. I’ve been applying it on top of Luna at night time to add further brightness and radiance to my skin.
C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum – Deluxe Mini
This is another product I’ve been dying to try as I absolutely love the C.E.O. range, so to see this in the Sunday Riley for Glossybox made me one very happy Bunny. Admittedly I am drowning in serums at the moment, but as soon as this arrived it got put straight into my routine.
It’s a highly-potent, fast-absorbing serum and it is infused with 15% vitamin C. With a hydrating antioxidant formula, it works to fight the look of dullness and dark spots. The serum also brightens the skin and gives you the look of radiance and luminosity.
I’ve been using this alongside Luna, as vitamin C and retinol work extremely well together, and also in the morning before I moisturise. I really want to get the full size of this, but at £70, I think I will have to wait until I’ve at least made a dent in the serum mountain I have going on.
C.E.O. C+E antiOXIDANT Protect + Repair Moisturiser – Deluxe Mini
I have been using this moisturiser for a good few months now (I’m on my 3rd pot), and I love it. I do get kind of sad when I’m testing other moisturisers as it means this sits on my shelf, but I always return to it.
C.E.O. is extremely hydrating and it infuses the skin with high-potency advanced vitamin C. It provides powerful antioxidant support and also fights the effects if micro pollution induced ageing. It is quickly absorbed and helps to even out your skin tone, as well as leaving your skin feeling beautifully soft and hydrated all day long.
If you want a holy grail moisturiser, then this is it. I seriously adore it and hate it if I have to go too long without using it.
Blue Moon Tranquility Cleansing Balm – Full Size
Finally, we have the full size product and it’s the most gorgeous cleansing balm. You’ll always find a pot of Blue Moon in my bathroom, and with good reason … it is so nice to use,
The soft blue cleanser starts off as a balm and turns into a milky consistency, and it is gentle yet extremely effective. Blue Moon uses gentle, clean-rinsing, sugar-based cleansers to give the skin a deep clean. The addition of cocoa butter and mimosa flower wax help to moisturise as it cleanses and essential oils of blue tansy, chamomile, vanilla and sweet orange help to relax your mind and leave you feeling tranquil.
You can use this morning and night, and you apply to dry skin before using a damp cleansing cloth to remove.
The Sunday Riley for Glossybox is just pure perfection. I’m grateful to have been given the chance to try a couple of products that I’d been lusting after, as well as having some travel-sized versions of my favourites that will be ideal to take away with me at Christmas. Trust me, if you were lucky enough to get this box, you’ll soon be a Sunday Riley addict like myself.
