I hadn’t heard of Salvatore Ferragamo before, so it was lovely when these mini bottles of perfume arrived on my doorstep. This is one of the best things about blogging – being introduced to brands you might never have tried before.
Ferragamo is a fashion house that also creates fragrances and I was excited to try these. I was sent the Signorina collection that consists of 4 beautiful scents. I think the smaller bottles are really cute and are a great way to explore the collection before committing to the price of a full size bottle.
These smaller 20ml bottles cost around £29.00 whereas the larger bottles start at £62.00, so this is a much more affordable way to experience the fragrances.
SALVATORE FERRAGAMO SIGNORINA MISTERIOSA
The first scent I was drawn to from the Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina collection is Signorina Misteriosa – I love the black bottle so wanted to try this one first.
The contemporary chic silky nuances of orange blossom intertwine with the opulent sensuality of tuberose, casting a subtly seductive spell.
It’s fruity, floral and oriental and smells absolutely beautiful – exactly the type of scent that I love.
TOP NOTES – blackberry and neroli
HEART NOTES – tuberose and orange blossom
BASE NOTES – patchouli, milk mousse and black vanilla husk
SALVATORE FERRAGAMO SIGNORINA ELEGANZA
Next up, we have the beautiful Signorina Eleganza. Again, the bottle is very pretty and I really liked the sound of this.
An Eau de Parfum with flowery and chypre accords celebrating the seductive side of femininity.
This is a more fruity scent than Misteriosa and is very pretty and feminine but it does have some depth. It’s a gorgeous scent for spring and summer.
TOP NOTES – grapefruit and pear
HEART NOTES – osmanthus and almond
BASE NOTES – patchouli and leather
SALVATORE FERRAGAMO SIGNORINA IN FIORE
One of my favourites from the collection is In Fiore as it is a wonderfully fresh fragrance and exactly what I go for at this time of year.
A fresh and lively eau de toilette in which delicate floral notes joyfully blend with juicy fruity shades.
SALVATORE FERRAGAMO SIGNORINA
The final scent is the original Signorina which was originally launched in 2011.
A fresh Eau de Parfum that combines the lively notes of pink pepper and accords of flowering jasmine and roses with a delicate sweetness of pannacotta.
I knew that I was going to like this as I love pink pepper and jasmine and I wasn’t disappointed – it is gorgeous.
TOP NOTES – pink pepper and redcurrant
HEART NOTES – jasmine, rose and peony
BASE NOTES – musk, patchouli and panacotta
I can safely say that the Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina collection is beautiful and I’m so glad that I got to try them. There’s definitely a couple that I would invest in the larger bottles as they wear so well. They have a good scent payoff and are long-wearing … well worth giving a try.
The mini bottles are all available at The Fragrance Shop.
