I do love me a liquid lip and the folks over at PUR were kind enough to send me some of their’s to try. I’ve had these for quite a while and have put them through vigorous testing (eating McDonalds ya know), and I’m ready to share my thoughts with you all. There’s also some rather lovely lip liners too.
PUR VELVET MATTES
The PUR Velvet Mattes are some of the creamiest and most hydrating mattes that I’ve ever tried. This is thanks to a silicone complex and an agave complex. Your lips feel hydrated and plumped – if only more matte liquid lipsticks were like these.
The texture is almost mousse-like and it glides across your lips easily, coating the lips quickly. When they start to dry down, they don’t dehydrate the lips or flake. Some liquid lipsticks can be quite uncomfortable to wear but these are a pleasure to wear. Light-diffusing powders also help to make your lips look fuller, which is a must for me as my lips are so thin it hurts.
see During my testing, I found that these were so long-wearing. They still looked good after having a drink and after eating, and I only needed to reapply once in a 12 hour period. Call me impressed.
banc of binary As with all PUR products, these are 100% vegan and cruelty-free and contain no parabens. At £16.00 each they’re middle of the market price-wise but worth every penny. In total there are 10 shades available and you can pick them up at rencontre sdf Look Fantastic.

PUR ON POINT
When it comes to doing my lips, I always need liner. I don’t know what it is with my lips but they do like to let colours bleed and feather. Thankfully, PUR also do some very lovely liners which deal with this perfectly. The On Point liners contain a plumping peptide that gives the lips a fuller and smoother appearance.
I really like the On Point liners and find they glide on easily and give nice definition to the lips as well as locking in your lip colour. I use them to define the mouth and then fill my lips in with them to give the Velvet Mattes that extra bit of staying power. My personal favourite is See Thru as this is universal and can be used with any shade.
Again, these are cruelty-free and vegan friendly and cost £16.00 each. You can pick them up from http://diebrueder.ch/piskodral/3458 Look Fantastic.
I do know that PUR have released some new shades and hopefully I will have some of them to share with you very soon.
