I love makeup brushes. A lot! I originally wrote about these Lottie London brushes over on the old blog, (and still need to bring over some of my other brush posts), but since I added a new one to the collection, I thought I would share them all with you.
LOTTIE LONDON POWDER POWER BRUSH – £7.99
This is one of my favourite powder brushes. It is nice and large and the bristles are so soft. It is ideal for both pressed and loose powders, and I really like that it picks up the powder well and leaves an even dusting on your skin.
LOTTIE LONDON FLAWLESS BASE FOUNDATION BRUSH – £7.99
If you like ‘paint brush’ style foundation brushes, then you will love this. I prefer to buff my foundation in, but I do still like this. Again, the bristles are nice and soft, and it perfectly applies liquid foundation.
LOTTIE LONDON BUFF & BLEND BUFFER BRUSH – £7.99
I fully admit that it was the pretty pink colour that initially made me buy this. It’s a flat-topped buffer brush with densely packed bristles. It applies finishing powders as well as softening harsh contour lines.
LOTTIE LONDON SHADE & SHADOW ANGLE BRUSH – £4.99
This is a professional-grade angled brush and it is ideal for shaping, smudging and lining (it also works well on brows). It delivers the perfect amount of colour, and adds definition and shape to the eye.
LOTTIE LONDON ALL EYES ON YOU EYESHADOW BRUSH – £4.99
I love a good multi-tasking brush, and this brush, with it’s compact rounded bristles, is a great addition to any collection. It is great for applying a base colour, or for buffing shadow into the crease. It works well with both creme and powder products.
LOTTIE LONDON BLEND IN EYESHADOW BRUSH – £4.99
A good blending brush is essential, and this is quite a good one. It has super-soft curved bristles and is great at buffing and diffusing eyeshadow and is great when you’re trying to create a smokey eye.
If you’re looking for affordable, nice quality brushes, then I’d really recommend these.
