Hello Bunnies!

Evolve Organic Beauty are a new brand to me.  The good thing about gathering together products for gift guides has been the arrival of some products I wouldn’t have necessarily tried.  Ok, so I’ve left this too late to be of any use as a Christmas present, but I still wanted to share it with you as it is lovely.

Evolve is an artisan producer of organic and natural skin, body and hair products.  Everything we create is hand-crafted using natural and organic oils, butters and natural superfoods sourced from around the world.

All our products are vegan and cruelty-free and made in small batches to ensure the highest level of freshness. Evolve was set up to make it easy to be healthy and green in everyday life.

I was sent the Hydrate and Glow Christmas Bag, which is currently on sale for £30.00 instead of £42.00, so grab it whilst you can.  It contains two of Evolve’s best-selling products:  the Hyaluronic Serum 200 and the Radiant Glow Face Mask.  They come in a cute little bag and are a lovely way to introduce yourself to Evolve Organic Beauty.

I love serums and have a ridiculous amount, but there’s always room for one more.  This serum contains 200g of Hyaluronic Acid per bottle, which is a bloody good amount.  It can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water and Evolve use one with a lower molecular weight.  This enables it to penetrate deeper into the skin and increase the hydrating properties.

Hyaluronic Acid helps to hydrate the skin from within as well as plump up those fine lines and wrinkles, as well as leaving you with an improved skin tone.  The production of collagen is also increased.  It’s only been this past year that I’ve incorporated more acids into my skincare regime and I do find them to be really effective.

This serum also contains Pomegranate Extract which is high in ellagic acid.  The ellagic acid helps to regulate cell turnover and it strengthens the cell membrane to limit water loss as well as reduce the damage caused by free radicals.

Whilst it’s still early days of me using this, I do really like it.  My skin has been feeling more hydrated so I will definitely keep on using this.  A 30ml bottle usually costs £30.00, so already this set is proving to be a great deal.

Face masks are a regular part of my routine – I just love them, so I was excited to try this one.  It’s a nice rich mask, blended with raw cacao powder and clay to revitalise and purify the skin.  It also contains coconut granules that work to buff the skin, leaving it silky smooth.  The addition of natural sugar extracts turn this from an exfoliating mask into a creamy milk once it makes contact with water.  You can easily rinse off the mask and are left with skin that feels smooth, calm and moisturised.

I don’t think I’ve used too many products with raw cacao in them, but I really like this.  Your skin is left feeling protected and hydrated as the raw cacao is rich in antioxidants.  Magnesium, Vitamin C and Omega 6 also promote cell repair and rejuvenation.

The mask also contains Sweet Almond Oil that is rich in Vitamins A, B and E and has high moisturising, emollient and nourishing properties.  When you apply the mask, you notice how quickly and easily it absorbs into the skin and your skin really feels nourished.  There’s also not annoying stickiness to the face.

Finally, the mask contains Coconut Shell Powder.  This helps to gently buff away the dead skin cells and your skin looks brighter as well as feeling so so soft.  A 60ml jar of this mask costs £20.00, so it’s affordable and is so lovely to use.  I may have to stock up on this!
