Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Cheat is one of her iconic products and now it has its own little family. The lipstick came first and we’ve all gone crazy over that over the last year or so (probably longer), and now we have more!
The Pillow Talk Lip Cheat is the perfect pink / beige nude that looks amazing on everyone, and the lipstick is the perfect match, so I was excited to see how well this would translate to an eye palette and a blusher. Safe to say, as always, Charlotte has pulled this off to perfection.
Pillow Talk Luxury Eye Palette – £39.00 (Currently out of stock)
I adore Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadows and have all of them (not sorry), so I’m more than excited to add a new one to my collection, and it is beautiful. With 4 of the prettiest shades, that perfectly complement the Pillow Talk lipstick, this is just gorgeous. As with her other quads, this is made up of PRIME, ENHANCE, SMOKE and POP shades, so it’s super easy to use and create an eye look to be proud of.
These are very delicate shades that give you such a soft and feminine look. They’re not dry to use and the POP shade is beautifully buttery and looks stunning. The shadows are nicely pigmented and didn’t take much product to look good on the eyes. Are they the most pigmented shadows ever? No, but they’re not supposed to be. The whole point of this palette is to be soft, pretty and flattering and it ticks all of those boxes.
PRIME – very light baby pink (almost cream) with a slight shimmer
ENHANCE – matte rose (very similar in colour to the lipstick)
SMOKE – dusty pink taupe matte
POP – rosy bronze shimmer
Pillow Talk Cheek To Chic Blusher – £30.00
Now normally with the Charlotte Tilbury blushers, you have a Swish shade and a Pop shade, but not this time. Instead we have Glow instead of Pop which actually makes me very happy as I love me some glow. The blush pairs perfectly with the eye palette as well as the lipstick and it looks so good on the skin. It gives a beautiful warmth to the cheeks as well as a gorgeous hint of illumination that makes you look lit from within.
Light Flex Technology helps to capture the light and re-emit it to leave your complexion looking healthy, and it blends perfectly thanks to finely crushed pearls of pigment. It applies easily and looks so smooth on the skin. I’m pale and it looks nice on me, although a light touch is needed and I can imagine it being universally flattering on all skin tones.
SWISH – Pinky Beige
GLOW – Champagne
Pillow Talk Lip Cheat – £16.00
The product that started it all, this is a must have for any makeup lover. Even before they released the Pillow Talk Lipstick, this was my most used lip liner (I’m currently on my 6th and that will run out soon). It is so flattering and has a velvety formula that glides on without and dragging. For those of you who love a nude lip, this is for you.
When this lipstick was released back at the start of 2017, I think many people cheered. It matches the Lip Cheat perfectly and it looks good on pretty much everyone. I love how it looks slightly different on each person, making your lips look like lips but so much better. As with Charlotte’s other mattes, it is still creamy and not at all drying and this is my go to when I want my lips to look natural, and bigger. Without fail this always makes my pretty rubbish pout look fuller. I think we all have shades that we always like to have backups of, and this is mine.
Once again, Charlotte Tilbury have produced stunning products that make my heart extremely happy.
