Just over 6 months ago I attempted suicide. Yesterday I met my idol. Today it has properly hit me just how far I’ve come. I finally met Charlotte Tilbury and I don’t think anything can wipe the smile off my face.
Hollywood Flawless Filter from Charlotte Tilbury is here! When I first saw the sneak peeks of this I thought that it was a new foundation, but I was wrong. This is a hybrid between a primer, a complexion booster and a highlight. The best way to describe it is probably as the love child between Wonderglow and Light Wonder and I bloody love it!
The Charlotte Tilbury Your Lip Service set is here and it is beautiful. I promised you a few CT posts and here’s the second. The gorgeous girls over at Charlotte Tilbury kindly sent me this set which contains 2 new shades and a re-release of The Queen. Bunnies, if you’re a Tilbury fan then you’re going to want this set.
I’m supposed to be having a blogging break for a few weeks, but there have been some deliveries – some very pretty deliveries. I’ll tell you now that there are going to be quite a few Charlotte Tilbury posts coming up … starting with this one. Ladies, may I present to you the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Blush.
I think by now that we’re all familiar with the Bronze & Glow and the Norman Parkinson version, but now there’s a new kid on the block and I’m beyond excited. I’m a huge fan of the original, so I got a little giddy the first time I saw this. Charlotte does the prettiest blushes so to have one in a compact with a gorgeous highlight makes me very happy.
The packaging is the same as with the Bronze & Glow in a gold case with an art deco sunburst design. Charlotte Tilbury always do nice packaging, and this style is one of my favourites. I know we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but I do and pretty packaging always puts a smile on my face.
As I’m so pale, I can sometimes find bronzer a bit daunting – so many are too orange or muddy on my skin tone. The Charlotte Tilbury ones work so well with my complexion. I don’t want to look like I’m covered in bronzer, so the subtle bronze is just what I’m looking for.
The Bronze shade is a beautiful blend of pearl and pigment that helps you to achieve a sun-kissed look. It gives a nice contour and you can build it up. If you’re pale and a bit scared of bronzer, then this is a great place to start. The Blush shade is so pretty. It’s in a perfect pink shade and contains finely crushed pearls. It gives you a pretty youthful flush to the cheeks. Together, they work so well on the skin and look beautiful.
You also get a Mini Artistry Brush with the palette that is ideal for applying the product. Charlotte makes great brushes, and this one is just the right size for throwing in your handbag for the day in case you want to make any touchups.
Have you tried the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Blush yet? It’s available on the Charlotte Tilbury website for £60.00.
