Yankee Candle are a firm favourite in my house, none more so than at Christmas. I already had a few festive votives and wax melts, and then Mick kindly bought me a set of goodies, so we will have a beautifully scented Christmas.
As we are going away to a little cottage for Christmas, I’ve gathered together all of my festive Yankee Candle scents and put them in a hamper ready to take with us. I have visions of cosy nights in front of the log burner, with a glass of wine and candles flickering as Mick and I see in Christmas in total cosiness.
In the set that Mick bought me were two candles. One is a medium size and the other is one of the small jars. The Sparkling Cinnamon is an obvious choice for Christmas, but I was confused by the Clean Cotton. However, I tend to have a lot of rich and heavy scents burning at this time of year, I like the thought of a simpler, fresher scent burning to contrast with the festive scents.

I love tea lights – you still get the scent without the price tag of a candle. I had the Festive Cocktail ones left over from last Christmas and I love them. The Winter Glow tea lights were included in the gift set and they’re one of my favourite Christmas scents.

I also have a few of the Home Inspirations votives. You can pick this range up in most supermarket, and whilst I prefer the original Yankee Candle range, these are still lovely.

Nothing brings the season to life like this wonderful mix of bayberry, clove, cinnamon and balsam fir.
Finally, to finish off my little festive hamper, I have some of my wax melts from last year to finish off, as well as 2 cute ruby bucket votive holders. I will probably pick up another Yankee Candle between now and my holiday … it’s Christmas after all!
