It feels like forever ago since I bought the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette, and after the longest wait ever, the rest of the Sweet Peach collection is now available in the UK. I broke my No Buy (to be fair I’ve broken it several times … I am weak), and treated myself to some of the new products. Were they worth the wait? Hell yes!
Now when the palette first arrived, I bloody loved it. I used it for a few weeks, and then it got put away and was only used a few more times. Now this isn’t because I fell out of love with it – far from it – but it was because I knew there were other products in the collection and I wanted them before I really incorporated the palette into my life. Come on, we all know by now that I am a little bit weird lol. So now that I have the other products, I can see this getting a lot more use over the coming months.
The main item I was looking forward to was the Sweet Peach Glow. I am a highlighter junkie so to say that I had high hopes for this would be an understatement. It contains an illuminating powder (golden peach with warm tones and a metallic sheen), a blush (warm-toned coral with a golden shimmer), and a bronzing powder (yellow-toned medium brown with a pearl sheen).
The powders have been infused with the essence of peach which gives your face a natural glow and smells so bloody good. The Illuminator is beautiful although very subtle on my complexion as I am so pale. The Blush is so pretty and gives a lovely warmth to my face, as does the gorgeous Bronzer. These would compliment all skin toes and you can build the coverage, whilst blending them out for a lovely airbrushed finish.
The Papa Don’t Peach blush has had a little bit of tweaking and has been re-launched with the addition of peach essence. It is a beautiful bronzed peach shade with a powder satin finish that adds a beautiful warmth to the complexion.
It has a rich, pigmented finish that is buildable and the gilded pink pearl adds a brightening finish to the skin. This is one product that I would definitely keep repurchasing as it is so flipping pretty.
There were a few of the Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Lip Oils to choose from. These are silky smooth peach oil infused lip glosses that smell and taste like peaches (admittedly the taste is my favourite thing about this). They contain Peach Oil, Coconut Oil and Vitamin E to soften and moisturise the lips.
I chose Pure Peach which is a very pretty peachy pink. I do like this, but as I am not much of a gloss girl, I don’t love it. It feels slightly sticky and doesn’t stay on for long at all.
Did you pick up any of the Sweet Peach Collection?
