Have you been Naughty or Nice this year? I’ve been a bit of both so i’m hoping that Santa still pays me a little visit. It’s no secret that I love Beauty Calendars and Charlotte Tilbury. Put the two together and you have one very happy Bunny. I didn’t think I’d be able to have the calendar this year, but the lovely folks at Charlotte Tilbury popped one in the post for me.
So this year we have two Selfridges Advent Calendars. I’ve already reviewed the L’Oreal one, and today it is the turn of the Selfridges Beauty Workshop Calendar they have released. At £65.00 it is considerably cheaper than the L’Oreal Calendar, and it contains a variety of different brands.
On a day where the World seems to have hit the self-destruct button, let’s cheer ourselves up with some festive fun. We are nearing the end of my Advent Calendar series and today I have the sold-out Look Fantastic Beauty Secrets Calendar, which cost £70.00. This calendar sells out fast each year so you need to get in early. I had the Look Fantastic Advent Calendar last year too so I’ve got high expectations.
So today is my 34th birthday (*sob*) but instead of focusing on my ever increasing slide down that slippery slope to 40, we will take a look at another Beauty Advent Calendar. This year seems to be the year that every company and their dog has released a calendar. Today’s offering is the Selfridges Advent Calendar and costs £95.00 and contains products from brands owned by L’Oreal.
I seem to have gone a little Advent Calendar crazy this year (there’s going to about 6 in total), and this Diptyque Advent Calendar has to be one of my favourites. I love their candles, so the thought of 25 treats is almost too much for me to handle. I am so excited. Ok, so it costs an arm and half a leg (£250), but if you can look past the price, then this is just the loveliest of lovely calendars.
