Candles excite me, Christmas candles really excite me and Diptyque Christmas candles make me lose my shit. The Diptyque Legende du Nord set contains the three Christmas candles for 2018 and they are gorgeous.
What I Got For Christmas posts are always a tricky one. Some people hate them and see them as bragging, whilst the rest of us love them. I’m a nosy cow and love to see what others have got. I don’t see it as bragging … it’s more someone being excited and appreciative. This year I wasn’t sure whether to write mine after I got some negativity towards one of my presents, but then I thought sod it! I’m over the moon with my presents and extremely grateful, so here it is. My 2017 What I Got For Christmas post. I hope you enjoy.
Diptyque scents don’t always get the attention that they deserve. We all love the candles but how many of us have ever smelt their perfumes? Whilst a full size bottle still evades me, I do have a few smaller bottles which I love. So I thought that I’d give you a little lowdown of the different scents, just in case you need to pop out and do some last minute Christmas shopping!
It’s December 1st which can mean only one thing … Blogmas! Now I’m not promising that every day is going to be full of super festive content but there will be a fair bit. I decided to kick off Blogmas with a wishlist post. We all love candles, but we love Christmas candles even more. Normally I treat myself to a few, but this year I’m being good and sticking to a wishlist instead.
It’s no secret that I clearly like to burn my money – from cigarettes (yes, yes I know) to candles, I like nothing more than to take a lot of my cash and set fire to it … and I’m not even sorry. Nope, not at all – although I do need to stop smoking then I’d have more money for candles. One of my favourite candle brands is Diptyque and I recently treated myself to a new candle from their Covent Garden store … and it is a beauty.
