Pixi Beauty do like to spoil us bloggers, and they certainly haven’t disappointed with their Pixi Peel & Polish exfoliator. I seem to have spent years trying to find an exfoliator that is gentle enough to use a few times a week but strong enough to really remove that dead skin. I’ve had this for a few weeks and have been using it three times a week and I really love it.
I did get a little confused at first – the name suggests that this is a peel, so I was expecting this to be a peel-off product but it isn’t. Whilst Pixi do describe this as a radiance revealing enzyme peel, this is a product that you rinse off. I’m not going to lie, I was a little bit disappointed by this. I do love a good peel-off but I was a brave girl and soon got over this.
Peel & Polish is made up of a variety of natural ingredients that work together to exfoliate the skin and leave you with a healthy looking glow and a smoother, softer complexion:
Natural fruit enzymes – loosen dead skin cells
Lactic acid – exfoliates the skin
Cellulose – peels the dead skin cells
Sugar extracts – polish the skin and lift away dullness
I have been really enjoying using this – my skin definitely feels more polished after use. I use it every 2 days or so and there has been no irritation at all which makes a nice change as some exfoliators are just too harsh. You just apply it to the face and neck (dry skin) and leave for 5 minutes to let the enzymes activate. You can just let it sit on the skin, but I like to massage it in when my skin feels in need of more of a polish. Then you just rinse off and admire the results.
My skin really does feel smoother and it looks brighter too, so I may have finally found the exfoliator that I love and that really works for me. Thankyou Pixi!!
