Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish – Lavender & Vetiver*

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

I am a big fan of Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish and have a nice shelf in the bathroom all stocked up – I have to have this in my life at all times.  It’s one of those products that I keep going back to time and again.  Now I’m a big fan of the original Cleanse & Polish, but I’m an even bigger fan of the limited edition scents they do from time to time.

I have tried a few of the limited edition ones and have loved them all, so when this beauty landed through my door, I was one happy Bunny.  It contains two of my favourite ingredients – Lavender and Vetiver.  I knew that I was going to love this from the get go and I wasn’t wrong.

Now I do have a little confession to make – this arrived last month as it went on sale on February 22nd, but I got so carried away with putting it to the test that I totally forgot to get this post up.  Thankfully it is still in stock, so all is well.  Life has gotten very very busy recently and finding the time to blog has been a bit of a struggle – it’s 10.00 pm as I type this which should give you some idea of the hours I’m putting into everything at the moment.  I do try my best to get reviews up quickly, but sometimes I forget.  Sorry!!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish is such an iconic product that I love it with they mix things up a bit by adding new scents to the formula.  This time it is a beautiful blend of Bulgarian lavender mixed with Indonesian vetiver and it smells so good.  Due to the addition of lavender, I have been using this as part of my evening routine.  I adore lavender and as I can have trouble falling asleep, I tend to incorporate all across my evenings.  Seriously, there’s a stash of lavender pillow sprays by the bed, lavender bath oils in the bathroom and I swear by the Neom Tranquility candle.

I find the scent to be just right – it’s not over-powering but you can definitely smell it.  It puts me in such a relaxed mood, so if you have trouble with your sleep, then you might just want to try this.  As for the vetiver, whenever that’s in a product, I just love it.  Together, they make a gorgeous combination.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

If you haven’t tried Cleanse & Polish then where have you been?  It’s such a good cleanser that removes your makeup easily as well as all the dirt and grime from the day.  It also gently exfoliates the skin and removes dead skin cells to leave you with a more glowing, smoother and radiant complexion.  It really is so good.

All you need is 1 – 2 pumps and you apply it to dry skin.  I put it on my face and neck and if you breathe in then the calming lavender and woodiness of the vetiver calms your senses.  The cleanser comes with 2 muslin cloths and you rinse a cloth in warm water and then use it to polish the cream off your face.

I always love how smooth and clean my skin feels after using Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, and the lavender makes this perfect for bedtime.  This is only available for 6 months, so you might want to stock up.

150ml and 2 cloths costs £23.50 and is available from Liz Earle counters, the website and John Lewis.
