I love Liz Earle, so when this lovely little parcel arrived the other day, I was a happy girl. I hadn’t ever tried their hair products before, so the Liz Earle Botanical Shine collection is my first foray into them. I am also partial to a good old Limited Edition, and these go on sale TODAY!! However, good things can’t always last forever and these are only available for just 8 weeks (I am seriously tempted to stock up). Ladies, this is one set you need to grab whilst you still can.
If you wanted the scent of summer in your shampoo then this is for you. It smells so bloody good. With a gorgeous blend of geranium, citrus oils and vanilla extract, this range smells uplifting, fresh and more than a little amazing.
I haven’t tried the original Liz Earle Botanical Shine range, but it contains the same naturally active ingredients. I don’t always want to put a load of chemicals on my hair – mostly because my hair is damaged and falls out a lot, so I like the fact that these contain natural ingredients.
The Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo is a beauty. It is suitable for all hair types and it is enriched with nourishing West African shea, which gives it a really nice feel. The formula also contains naturally derived coconut cleansers which result in a gentle foam and leaves you with hair that is so soft and silky smooth. My hair has felt so clean since using this and I do keep sniffing it, not gonna lie.
My hair always needs conditioner and it can be the one thing I struggle with. Some feel too heavy, some just don’t tackle the knots and some leave a greasy feel to my hair. Thankfully this one is lovely, although I did need to use quite a bit at first (the next time I washed my hair I needed less). It contains smoothing meadowfoam, as well as blue seakale which strengthens and Kalahari melon oil to nourish and leave the hair looking revitalised, healthy and without the dreaded knots and tangles.
I am more than a little sad that the Botanical Shine Limited Edition is only around for such a short amount of time as they’re so gorgeous. My hair looks and feels so much better and I need lots of this in my life. I will be checking out more from the Liz Earle haircare selection though.
As I said, they go on sale today and are each £13.00 for 200ml and are available from Liz Earle.
Liz Earle Botanical Shine hits the shops on 27th July and will be sold in Liz Earle stores, selected branches of Boots and John Lewis, and also on QVC.
Stock up whilst you can!
