I love a good pamper and recently I have been loving the Laura Mercia Almond Coconut Milk collection. There are a few different Laura Mercier products in my bathroom and there’s no nicer feeling than running the bath after a long day and dropping in some gorgeous products. Admittedly I probably spend way too much time in the tub, but with products this nice who can blame me?
Mick bought me the Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk collection for Christmas and it appears to be unavailable on most sites at the moment, but you can buy all the products individually. There’s something really luxurious about Laura Mercier products and they always smell amazing and feel so nice on the skin. This was a scent that I hadn’t tried before and I’m so glad I’ve finally experienced it.
With notes of coconut, almond, vanilla, heliotrope, rosewood, jasmine, tonka and musk, this is a warm, rich, sensual and seductive scent. There are a few different products in the set, so it’s a good way to see how well the fragrance works across the range.
Using a fancy body wash does make me feel nice and this is the first Laura Mercier one that I’ve ever tried. It’s naturally based and is derived from coconut, oat and corn. I love how gentle it feels and it doesn’t strip the skin of it’s natural moisture.
You get a nice creamy lather and your skin is left with a beautiful delicate scent. Your skin feels so smooth and moisturised after use and I can see this being a body wash that I’m going to be wanting more of … I’m tempted to get a few in the other Laura Mercier scents that I love.
I love the Laura Mercier Souffle Body Cremes and have quite a collection of them in the bathroom. They feel so nourishing and moisturising on the skin. They have a nice whipped texture and are beautifully scented.
There’s a whole host of ingredients to help enrich and moisturise the skin. Derivatives of Vitamins A, C and E enrich the skin, whilst Grape Seed and Rice Bran Oil help to condition the skin. Your skin is left feeling soothed thanks to Honey and Vanilla Extract, and it is left feeling protected and moisturised thanks to Sweet Almond and Hydrolyzed Rice Proteins and Pro-Vitamin B5.
If you’ve never tried a Laura Mercier bath creme then you are missing out … big time! I have to always have one on the go for those baths when I really want to feel pampered and relaxed. I’ve tried a few and love them all, and this one is no exception.
It is a luxurious bath creme that makes gorgeously rich bubbles and smells like a dream. With the same ingredients as the Body Creme, your skin is left moisturised, supple and nourished. You’ll also feel wonderfully relaxed and calm and wonder why you’ve never had a bath so nice before. Seriously, if you only buy one Laura Mercier product, then a bath creme is the way to go.
I’d never tried one of the eau de toilettes before, and this is probably my least favourite product from the set. Now don’t get me wrong, it is nice, but I’m quite fussy when it comes to perfumes. It’s one of those that I’ll wear on the days when I’m staying at home.
It really does smell beautiful but I like my perfumes to pack a bit of punch and this doesn’t do that. I love the scent of the Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk range on my skin when it’s in the form of a body creme or bath products, but it’s a touch too sweet for me to want to wear as a perfume. I’m a complicated sort of girl.
