It’s Glossybox time again, and can you believe we’re on the August box already? Seriously, this year needs to take a nap and slow the Hell down. August’s box is the second of their Summer boxes, with the theme Girls just wanna have sun. There are five products this month, and there’s also a little present included too.

WHAT’S IN THE AUGUST BOX?
VALQUER ICE HAIR MASK
I have never heard of this brand, so I don’t know what to expect. Recently I have been spending more time on caring for my hair, so this will definitely get used. It is described as an energising hair mask that has a cooling effect. This cooling powers up the macadamia oil and helps to hydrate and tame you hair.
You shampoo your hair as normal but twice a week, instead of conditioning, you use the mask. All you have to do is leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse off. My hair is in quite bad condition at the moment, so I will certainly enjoy seeing how well this works.
BATISTE 2-IN-1 DRY SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER
Oh I do love a bit of Batiste and I do already have the full-size of this. This smaller size is perfect for throwing in your handbag or taking on holiday with you. As it has a dual formula, it refreshes the roots and conditions the lengths. With the Vanilla and Passionflower scent, it is perfect for the Summer.
I love this product, and I am pretty sure you will too. I hate the feeling of dirty hair, but also hate the effort that washing takes. This is the perfect solution and gives you an extra day or so before you have to wash your hair.
RODIAL SUEDE LIPS IN BIG APPLE
I do like a nice lip crayon, and this one from Rodial is lovely, The warm rose / berry shade appeals to me greatly, so this will be getting a lot of use. It gives the lips intense colour in a matte finish but isn’t drying on the lips. Instead, it is nice and moisturising thanks to the Vitamin E in the formula.
I haven’t used too much from Rodial before, but I really like this. Crayons make a nice change from a lipstick or a liquid formula. It works well as a lip liner as well as an all over colour and is so wearable. Well done Glossybox, this is gorgeous.
SPORTFX TIME OUT FACE MIST
Face Mists make me happy – sad I know. I have a drawer full of them and love using them throughout the day. I am not familiar with this brand, but the mist is nice to use. It refreshes and soothes the face, as well as priming the face and setting makeup. The menthol essence leaves you with such a nice cooling sensation which is ideal in Summer.
This is a great mist if you’re a gym bunny (I’m not), as it’s effect whilst still being nice and small for your bag. I don’t know how often I’d reach for this to set my makeup though. I prefer it more as a refreshing mist.
MODELLAUNCHER SAFARI SUN BRONZER
This is another brand that I’ve never heard of, but the bronzer does look nice. If I’m being 100% truthful, it does look like a budget brand although the price tag is £16.50 (Bunny confused). It is talc-free and mineral-enriched and it does give a nice warmth to the skin. Do I love it? No, I’ve got nicer bronzers, but it is nice and it is wearable.
Glossybox are good for including lesser known brands and I do think some people will love this. I think I need to play with it a little bit more.
PURELEI ALOHA BRACELET
This cute little bracelet has been included as a little present. Hands up who thought it was a hair band? Just me? It is very pretty but I’m always going to think of it as a bobble. Sorry.
