Hello Bunnies!

I talk often on my blog and my YouTube channel about how much I love having glowing skin – that matte life just isn’t for me.  A combination of different medications and health issues has resulted in my skin being a lot duller than it used to be (think old age might have something to do with it too), so products that give me the radiance I feel that I am missing will always be my favourites.

The lovely folk over at Pixi Beauty have kindly sent me some goodies to give me the glow I crave.  I have been using two of the products for quite a while now and one is new to me, but I love it.  These products are all you need to glow with Pixi Beauty.

So Pixi have a two step routine to give you that glow and it could not be simpler.

The Glow Mud Cleanser (£18.00) is something that I have not tried before and I really do not know why.  I realised that I had a mini tube and was a bit pissed at myself for not having used it as this is such a lovely cleanser.  It is a deep pore cleansing mud and it feels so nice to use.  It gently exfoliates the skin as it cleanses and gets right down into the pores leaving your complexion looking cleaner, healthier and more radiant.

The cleanser is enriched with botanical extracts and 5% Glycolic Acid which works as an exfoliator as well as helping to lighten any discolouration you may have – it is also beneficial for those of us with blackheads (hate this buggers) and even acne.  I love how well this works, it gives you that deep cleanse but still feels gentle on the skin, so anyone can use it.

Do I even need to say what this is?  Ok, for those of you who haven’t caught the bug yet, this is Glow Tonic (£10.00 150ml or £18.00 250ml).  I have an insane stash of this stuff as I can’t ever run out.  I have tiny bottles from gift sets right up to the huge salon size bottle that lives in my bathroom.  I do a proper full-on exfoliation of my skin twice a week but I love using this twice daily to tone my skin as well as giving it a gentle exfoliate without stripping or being harsh on my skin.

As with the Glow Mud, it contains 5% Glycolic Acid for that exfoliation as well as Aloe Vera, Ginseng and botanical extracts that work together to nourish and treat the skin.  It is alcohol-free so it’s not drying on the skin and is suitable for all skin types.  I soak a cotton pad with Glow Tonic and sweep it across my face and neck in the morning and before bed after cleansing and before moisturising.  I love the glow it gives to my skin and how much brighter and healthier my complexion looks.

If you’re in a rush, then instead of using the bottle of Glow Tonic, you can use these handy Glow Tonic To-Go pads (£20.00).  The pads are pre-soaked with Glow Tonic so you can still tone, brighten, hydrate and gently exfoliate your skin in seconds.  These are great for travelling and perform just as well as the normal Glow Tonic.
