Cover FX – Base Products To Die For *

Cover FX

Hello Bunnies!

Cover FX are a brand I’ve always seen all over social media but had very little experience of.  I did have one of the Enhancer Drops but they were too dark for me.  However, when they asked if I wanted to try a few pieces, I got excited and eagerly awaited the Postman.  I’ve been testing the products over the space of a few weeks and now I’m determined to try more from them.

ILLUMINATING SETTING SPRAY – £22.00

I was sent this gorgeous setting spray first and it has fast become a part of my daily makeup routine.  We all know that I like to glow like a glow-worm, so when I saw a setting spray that would also illuminate me … on it like a car bonnet!  The spray is quick drying and doesn’t feel drying on the skin at all thanks to it being alcohol-free.  It definitely keeps your makeup looking perfect for hours and hours … I fell asleep in mine, woke up the next morning and my makeup was immaculate lol.  I love the mister on this – it is ultra-fine and delivers an even finish to the skin.

The thing I really like about this is that you can control the glow – the more you mist the more luminosity added to the skin.  Tie my hands down so I don’t spray a full bottle on my face!  There is a definite glow to the skin after using this, but it’s quite natural although you can add more.  Ladies, get this in your life now!!

CUSTOM COVER DROPS – £36.00

These are clever – far cleverer than me.  Ever had a foundation you love but wished the coverage was different?  Well this is your answer.  The drops work with foundation or tinted moisturiser (not on their own) and allow you to customise the coverage and even finish of your products.  They’re a pure pigment and they do some sort of witchcraft to your foundation.

If you wanted a radiant finish, then you can add them to oils, serums and creams, or if you’re more of a matte girl then add them to a mattifying primer or lightweight lotion.  For the desired levels of coverage, you just add the right amount of drops.  Bunnies, these work like a dream.  I’m not going to pretend I understand how they work as I don’t, but they do work.

TOTAL COVER CREAM FOUNDATION – £35.00

Now I’m not normally that keen on cream foundations – I prefer liquids, but in the interests of giving you as much info as I can, I’ve been testing this out.  It’s an antioxidant-rich cream formula and acts as a foundation and concealer in one product.  What I really like about this is the shade range – there are 40 global shades available so well done Cover FX.

The foundation gives you full coverage, but still with some radiance, although I do still prefer my liquids.  I like a dewy finish and you’re not going to get that with this.  However, if you do like a lot of coverage then this is great, especially to take out and about with you in case touch ups are needed.  It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and blends out perfectly.  I’d avoid this if you tend to be on the oilier side, but for those of us with normal or even dry skin, then this works well.
