Caudalie French Kiss & Other Goodies *

Caudalie French Kiss

Hello Bunnies!

Have you guessed by now that I’m having a total love affair with Caudalie?  I was going to do separate posts on these but I’m aware that there’s been a lot of Caudalie posts recently, so I’m going to do one post.  The main focus are the new Caudalie French Kiss tinted lip balms that have just launched, and then there’s a few other gorgeous goodies too.

CAUDALIE FRENCH KISS TINTED LIP BALMS – £10.00 EACH

As Winter approaches, it’s time to get ourselves prepared.  I don’t mean buying 25 jumpers or stocking up on your PSLs either.  My lips always suffer in the cold weather and seem to be permanently chapped, so lip balms are essential for me.

Now I’ve got plenty of your more traditional balms and lip salves, but the Caudalie French Kiss balms are something special.  I love the packaging – the little pots are super cute and very Insta worthy which appeals to me on every level.  When my lips are chapped, the last thing I want to do is put lipstick on, but I do still want some colour to my lips.  I’ve tried plenty of tinted balms before and some of them are really good, and these are no exception.

You’re not going to get a huge punch of colour as they are balms, but you get enough to make it look like you have something on your lips.  They taste gorgeous too (not that I eat them but I do lick my lips a lot).  There’s no synthetic taste thanks to the natural formula and your lips feel nicely moisturised throughout the day.  The French Kiss balms are beautifully creamy in texture and help to repair any damage to your lips.  They also contain antioxidant grape Polyphenols and have a nice hydrating effect on the lips.

There are three different Caudalie French Kiss balms available:

INNOCENCE – light infused with vanilla and orange peel and adds a natural pink shine to your lips.

ADDICTION – inspired by a syrup made from red berries this gives your lips a gorgeous raspberry red hue.

SEDUCTION – enhance the lips with a subtle and delicious pink tint alongside the scent of vanilla.

Caudalie Shower Gels

CAUDALIE SHOWER GELS – £9.00 EACH

Ever since I was sent the Eau des Vignes Shower Gel, I’ve been more than a little obsessed with Caudalie’s shower gels.  They’re nice and natural and smell amazing.  I love how well they lather on the body and I haven’t wanted to use anything else in the shower.

At £9.00 they’re not going to break the bank and I can’t praise them highly enough.  Each one has a unique and beautiful scent that isn’t overpowering but stays on your skin for hours. They are enriched with Aloe Vera and feel moisturising and hydrating on the skin – there’s no drying feeling at all.  If I could only ever buy one brand of shower gel then it would have to be Caudalie.

ROSE DE VIGNE – notes of rose leaves, rhubarb and musk.

FLEUR DE VIGNE – notes of white rose, rose pepper and rare grape blossom.

THÉ DES VIGNES – notes of white musk, neroli flowers and ginger.

Caudalie Micellar Water

CAUDALIE MICELLAR CLEANSING WATER – £15.00

Micellar waters are one of those products that seemed to appear out of nowhere and now it sees like they’ve been around forever.  I’ve tried lots from all price points and wasn’t expecting this to be any better than the popular drugstore brand.  Turns out it is.

The micelles trap the impurities in the skin, like pollution and dirt, and you just wipe them away easily.  There’s no need for soap or rubbing vigorously.  It is nice and gentle but really works to remove your makeup – even mascara and liquid liner.  After using, your skin feels soothed, clean, soft, refreshed and moisturised.  Plus this one has a delicate scent of orange and lemon blossom, watermelon and mint leaves which is just gorgeous.  I’ve also found you don’t need to use too much so it’s better value for money than you first think.

Caudalie Brightening Essence

CAUDALIE VINOPERFECT CONCENTRATED BRIGHTENING ESSENCE – £30.00

To say that I’m slightly obsessed with the Brightening Essence would be something of an understatement.  It has been inspired by Asian skincare and it is a joy to use.  The bottle is huge too so you’re getting bang for your buck.

The Essence contains Glycolic Acid which helps to deal with those dead skin cells and White Peony leaves the skin looking healthier with a lovely glow.  It is also enriched with Caudalie’s Grape Water to hydrate, soothe and moisturise the skin.  I love how lightweight this is and my skin always looks healthier after using it with a more even tone.  This needs to be part of your skincare routine.

Caudalie French Kiss

CAUDALIE VINOPERFECT RADIANCE SERUM – £45.00

With skincare, I like to give it a good test before I comment on it.  I’ve been using this Serum for a couple of months now and I love it.  I never used to bother with serums a couple of years ago but now it’s an integral part of my skincare regime.  I’ve also got the Vine(Activ) serum, but this one is my favourite.

When you get to my age, you start to notice changes to your skin and one of these can be dark spots.  I don’t know about you, but I don’t want these … at all.  The Radiance Serum works to correct these and even prevent them, as well as evening out your skin tone.  Another factor that I love is that this also adds radiance (we can tell I’m all about that heathy glow).  There’s definitely been an increase in radiance as well as an improvement to my skin tone.  With an oil-free formula, this has been a pleasure to use … even though I’ve got a drawer full of serums, I don’t want this one to dry out.

You can buy the Radiance Serum here.

I also have a post on the amazing Beauty Elixir coming up soon – it’s 20 this year!
