Caudalie Crushed Cabernet

Hello Bunnies!

Wine and body care joining together to create a gorgeous body scrub?  Yes please Caudalie!!  Ok, so it’s not actual wine but it’s close enough.  Caudalie Crushed Cabernet Scrub is a grape lover’s delight and it leaves your skin feeling amazing.

We all know that feeling when your skin feels dry and rough and it’s not pleasant.  I will admit that I can sometimes leave it that bit too long before I give my body a good old scrub.  However, as soon as I’ve done it, I love the feeling of my skin.

Caudalie Crushed Cabernet Scrub is one of Caudalie’s cult Vinothérapie products and is used in their spas in Bordeaux.  This isn’t some gimmicky scrub – it’s a high quality product used as part of professional treatments.  Now I’m never going to be in a position to jet off to France for a treatment, but at least I can get a similar feeling at home.

What I really love about this scrub is the fact that it is made up of 98% natural ingredients.  Whilst I’m not that strict about ingredients, I am starting to enjoy more natural products more.  This scrub is a beautiful blend of grape seeds, honey, brown sugar and 6 essential oils.  So no nasty microbeads in this scrub.

Apparently this also has a slimming action and is beneficial for cellulite and draining.  I can’t say I’ve noticed a massive difference in that area yet, but God loves a trier so I will keep trying.  To be honest, I’ve sort of accepted the cellulite now, so I’m not too fussed about that side of things.

What I can tell you about is how bloody lovely this leaves your skin feeling.  I’ve been using this twice a week for a few weeks now and my skin has never felt softer, smoother or silkier.  Caudalie recommend using this especially on your stomach, hips and thighs (for those draining properties).  I really love using it on my legs.  When my legs feel rough, I hate it, so this has been so good to use.

At £21.50 per tub, it’s a little pricey but that doesn’t put me off.  I’m not the biggest fan of the scent, although I don’t mind it once it’s on my body.  Just because Summer is over (did it even begin?), and the body will be covered more, you still want your skin to feel nice.  Ladies, this is a scrub you don’t want to miss out on.

I do have some more Caudalie posts on the way (I love this brand), and I also have a few older ones if you want to take a read.
